VIRENT

Virent Ventures Studio · Seattle and remote

Your strategy, built and run— not coached.

Go-to-market strategy, the plan to carry it out, the goals that measure it, and the structure to run it every week.

Built for under-represented founders and owners.14 years running operations at AWS, Meta, and Uber.

The work

From strategy to a business that runs on it.

All four, in one engagement, built to work together.

  1. The strategy

Who buys, why now, how they find you, and what you say. Written with you, in your buyer’s words.

  2. The plan

The quarter broken into months, one objective each, with the tests that prove it or kill it.

  3. The measures

The goals the plan answers to, tracked as the month goes, and three numbers every Friday on the health of the business.

  4. The structure

Owners, cadence, and one live tracker. Add the Install, and agents take on the desk work, so the plan runs without you in every seat.

The plans

The right work, at the right time.

Go-to-market, product, and funding decide most years. Each plan is written with you, broken into monthly work, and run on the Friday rhythm.

Go-to-market

Who buys, why now, and how they find you.

Built into the channels, partners, and follow-up that bring in the next client, then measured every Friday.

  • Positioning and the offer, in your buyer’s words
  • Channel and partner tests, each with a kill condition
  • An outreach and follow-up engine you own
Product

What you sell, at what price, in what order.

The offer, the packaging, and the roadmap calls, sequenced against what your clients are telling you.

  • Offer and pricing tests
  • A roadmap ordered by what pays first
  • Launch checklists that hold the date
Funding

The money the plan needs, and where it comes from.

Revenue, grants, loans, or investors, matched to the plan, with every deadline on the calendar.

  • A funding map, sized to the plan
  • A grant and application calendar with nothing missed
  • The numbers a funder asks for, ready before they ask

One plan leads each month.

Momentum comes from finishing. The most important plan gets the month, the others hold their place, and their deadlines are still kept.

Example quarter. Which plan leads is decided at each monthly review.

How it runs

Built inside your business, and run there every week.

We don’t stop at the recommendation. The system is built with you, run with you every week, and stays when the engagement ends.

One objective a month

The one thing this month is for, broken into the two or three moves that advance it, each with a cost and a date.

Three numbers every Friday

One page at 8:00: what came in, what went out, the decisions waiting on you, and how the month’s objective is tracking. You spot problems early instead of at month-end.

Agents you own

They run inside your business and draft the desk work. You approve what goes out. They stay when we leave.

The desk

And the desk work stops landing on you.

The structure takes the desk off your plate, so your hours go to the work clients pay for.

Who handles each seat

  1. Billing YouDrafted · you send Invoices go out on whichever evening you find for them, and nobody checks what cleared.Every invoice in the contract is built at signature, with its email and a send-date reminder. You press send.
  2. Follow-up YouDrafted · you send The recap from Tuesday’s call is still in your head on Friday.Every call gets a recap within a day, and every open thread its next touch on time.
  3. Meetings YouPrepared for you You walk in cold, skim the folder they shared, and leave without notes. An agenda and a prep block for every session, the shared folder read beforehand, notes filed after.
  4. The tracker YouKept current Partners, prospects, and funders live in five inboxes and your memory. One live tracker, updated at every review.
  5. Proposals and contracts YouDrafted · you sign Each proposal starts from the last one, and the terms drift. One template for proposals, NDAs, and change orders, each tracked until it is signed.
  6. The month-end YouSent on schedule The numbers get pulled after the billable hours, if at all.Three numbers in your inbox at 8:00 every Friday. You can hold any week.
  7. The work only you can do You Gets the hours that are left.Gets your week back.

With the Install, you choose the three seats to hand off first.

Nothing goes out without you. Agents draft and prepare; you approve, send, and sign. Agents never give professional advice.

The first month

From strategy to a running business.

  1. Week one

The strategy, written with you: who buys, why now, and what you say.

  2. Week two

The plan and the measures: one objective a month, and the three Friday numbers.

  3. Weeks three and four

The structure, built beside you: owners, cadence, and the tracker. With the Install, up to three desk workflows are built and handed over.

  4. Every week after

The Friday numbers, and a working session every two weeks.

In their words

What founders and owners say.

We need somebody on this team who is an air traffic controller. Nicole does that. She’s really good at that.
Burt Hamner, Founder, Cocoon, on the operating partner engagement
Nicole is ruthless about saying, you have three things to do this month. Do not do anything else.
Burt Hamner, Founder, Cocoon
I’m happy with the signups, and even the conversions, that we got in the first 15 days.

Nicole Doyle

Owner, Virent Ventures Studio · Seattle

I run a small firm of my own on the system I build for you: one objective a month, the Friday numbers, and agents doing the desk work. Before Virent I spent 14 years in operations at AWS, Meta, and Uber.

The large companies taught me how operations work at scale. Running my own office taught me what a three-person firm actually needs, which is less, built well, and run every week.

  • Founder Institute SeattleSpring 2026: 20 founders through a 13-week program, with 48 sessions and 43 mentors, run on these systems.
  • The SWELL IncubatorProgram design for a women’s incubator.

Questions

What owners ask first.

I already have a coach, or I run EOS.

Keep what works. This is implementation, not another course: we build the system with you and run it with you on Monday morning.

Am I too small for this?

Probably not. The fees are sized for an owner and two to five people, and the engagement runs month to month.

Are AI agents a risk in my practice?

Before anything is built, we agree in writing which data the workflows may use, who can access what, and what needs your approval. The workflows draft and prepare; you review, send, and sign. They never give professional advice.

Do you raise money for us?

No. Virent builds the funding plan, the numbers, and the calendar, and you make the asks. No solicitation and no success fees.

What happens if we stop?

Give 14 days’ notice. Everything built is yours on payment, and it is documented so someone else can run it.

What exactly do I own at the end?

The workflows, set up in accounts in your name, with their configurations and any code; the documentation and runbooks; and the training. The tools and AI services underneath stay with their providers, on subscriptions you hold. Our methods and templates stay ours.

Do you work outside Seattle?

Yes. Virent is based in the Seattle area and works with offices across the US.

The next step

A 20-minute call, and a clear next step.

  1. You tell us where the business needs to go, and what is in the way.
  2. We tell you what we would build or run first, and what it would cost.
  3. You get it in writing within a day, whether or not we work together.
